20-year-old driver killed after "Jiguli" hits tree in Qashqadaryo

A driver died as a result of a traffic accident in the Shahrisabz district of the Qashqadaryo region, according to the regional Traffic Safety Department.

The incident occurred on October 26 at around 23:30 on a road passing through the Katta Novqat neighborhood area. The driver, M.X., born in 2006, lost control while driving a VAZ-2105 vehicle and crashed into a tree on the roadside.

As a result of the traffic accident, the driver passed away in the hospital due to the injuries sustained.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code (Violation of traffic safety rules or the use of vehicles resulting in a person's death). An investigation is currently ongoing.
