In Andijan, rescuers evacuated a woman and two children from a burning building. The fire broke out in an apartment on the fifth floor of a seven-story building.
According to the press service of the Emergency Situations Department, the incident occurred on September 6 in the "Bunyodkor" mahalla. The woman and her two children were trapped on the balcony. Rescuers evacuated them using a fire ladder.
The fire report was received at 18:30. Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene four minutes later. It took 16 minutes to extinguish the fire. The flames damaged the walls, furniture, and household appliances. There were no casualties.
Earlier, a major fire engulfed two clothing stores in the Angor district of the Surxondaryo region. The fire damaged about 35 square meters of the two clothing stores' area. No one was injured.
