“I was shocked to learn that I had quintuplets” – a report from a family where quintuplets were born
After two girls, the Bekjonov family in Andijan has given birth to quintuplets. Two of them are boys and three are girls. The twins’ father, Ikhtiyorjon Bekjonov, works as an engineer-metrologist at a paint factory in Andijan. He is working hard to take good care of the twins.
Neighbors decorated the streets and welcomed the twins’ discharge from the hospital with great festivities. The babies’ father is busy transporting diapers and supplementary food for the twins. The day we visited the family, we met the happy father bringing in lots of diapers and special food for his babies.
“I cried when I found out I was having quintuplets…”
“I was a father of two girls. I had been praying to God for a son. When I found out my wife was pregnant, we had a checkup. At first, the doctors said we would have 3 or 4 twins. We were very surprised. I was overjoyed. On the one hand, I couldn’t believe that I was going to become a father of twins.
Two weeks later, we went to another doctor’s appointment. There, they clearly said that the fetus was quintuplets. I was so surprised that I cried. When I got home, I told my mother about it. My mother also cried...
In the meantime, we often went to ultrasounds to monitor the condition of the children. We did what the doctors said and tried not to make my husband nervous.
The birth was also wonderful. It was still early for the birth. At thirty-four weeks We went to the hospital at thirty-one weeks and five days after the birth. On July 6, at around 5:30, the doctor, Sister Sohiba, called me excitedly, saying, "Please take care of me!" I was so happy to hear that my twins, 2 boys and 3 girls, had been born safely. I sat down and cried a lot...
At first, I couldn't tell my twins apart. Now I'm doing better. My eldest son, Muhammadzayd, is calm, and doesn't cry often. The others are capricious, but I can tell them apart. My eldest daughter, Musfira, frowns a lot, and my third daughter, Safinur, is fair, so I can recognize them. I have a little trouble telling my Muhammadzayd and my Muhammadmiron apart.
