Husan Botirov elected Chairman of the Biathlon Federation
Today, the reporting and election conference of the Biathlon Federation of Uzbekistan was held at the Central Council of the "Vatanparvar" organization. The new leadership of the federation was formed during the event.
According to the results of the conference, Husan Botirov was elected Chairman of the Biathlon Federation of Uzbekistan. Mansur Mamadaminov was appointed to the position of First Deputy, and Anvar Kurbaniyazov was appointed Deputy Chairman.
The new leadership outlined the priority tasks facing the federation, stating that special attention will be paid to the further development of Uzbek biathlon, improving the results of athletes in international competitions, and thorough preparation for high-level tournaments.
In particular, it was emphasized that preparation for the 2027 World Championship and the 2030 Winter Olympic Games is one of the key directions of the federation's activities.
The new leadership faces tasks such as developing the biathlon infrastructure, selecting and training talented athletes, and strengthening the position of Uzbek biathlon on the international stage.
