How does the loan prohibition service work?
In Uzbekistan, citizens can voluntarily prohibit the conclusion of credit transactions in order to prevent the issuance of credit in their name without their participation or knowledge. To do this, it is enough to submit an application through the State Credit and Loan Service, State Service Centers or credit bureaus.

How does the service of prohibiting obtaining a loan in one's name work?
According to the legislation, an individual has the right to prohibit the conclusion of a credit agreement in his name by submitting an application to a credit bureau. This mechanism is primarily aimed at preventing the issuance of a loan in his name without the knowledge or participation of the individual.
An application for establishing a ban can be submitted electronically through the Unified Interactive State Services Portal (YaIDXP). Citizens can also apply to the State Services Center or the credit bureau in writing or electronically.
Upon receipt of the application, the credit bureau immediately enters the citizen into the register of persons prohibited from concluding a credit agreement. The application submitted through the YaIDXP is automatically sent to credit bureaus.
After that, the bank or other relevant credit organization is obliged to check whether there is a ban on the citizen in the register before concluding a credit agreement with him. According to the law, it is prohibited to conclude a credit agreement without obtaining relevant information from the register.
A citizen can also remove this ban at any time. Both the introduction and cancellation of the ban are voluntary and free of charge.
A QR-code certificate is provided based on the results of the service. When applying through the YaIDXP, it is sent to the citizen's personal account, and when applying through the State Services Center, the result is delivered to the applicant in the prescribed manner.
Thus, a citizen can prohibit the conclusion of a loan agreement in his name in advance during the period when he does not plan to receive a loan, and if necessary, cancel the ban.
