In Uzbekistan, the development of startups and the venture capital market is a priority of state policy. According to a presidential decree, the country is creating conditions for the development of venture funds, accelerators, and other tools to support tech entrepreneurship.
Hayot Ventures, a venture fund working with tech startups at the idea, MVP, and pre-seed stages, has become a participant in this ecosystem.
In the early stages, many projects require not only investment but also experience, expertise, professional connections, and product development support. Hayot Ventures helps teams navigate this stage to prepare their projects for further growth and attracting subsequent investment.
The fund invests between $10,000 and $150,000 in startups. Hayot Ventures considers projects in the following areas:
The Hayot ecosystem announced the launch of a fund in the spring of 2026 in partnership with New Uzbekistan University. Today, Hayot Ventures is accepting applications from tech startups across Uzbekistan.
You can submit your application via the Telegram bot or on the website. In 2026, the fund plans to close approximately 20 investment deals and subsequently support 20-40 startups annually. A decision on your application will be made within 14 business days after receiving a complete set of documents.
One of the fund's new projects will be the Hayot Safari expedition. In the fall, the Hayot Ventures team will visit Samarkand, Bukhara, Navoi, Khorezm, Karakalpakstan, and cities in the Fergana Valley to meet tech teams outside the capital. The best projects will receive priority review and the opportunity to compete for a special prize.
This summer, the fund will also host a national online tournament, Hayot Tycoon, a startup simulation game. The winner will receive 100 million soums.
Hayot Ventures is developing a partner ecosystem bringing together representatives of the venture capital market and the tech community. The fund's partners include:
Hayot Ventures' strategic goal is to cultivate an ecosystem of early-stage tech startups in Uzbekistan, capable of becoming a local equivalent of Silicon Valley. Venture capital will become a tool for the Hayot ecosystem to identify and select promising early-stage projects.
"The entire Hayot ecosystem is behind this first check: the bank, capital for subsequent rounds, hotels, restaurants, and tech companies ready to become the first clients of our portfolio teams. Our goal is not just to provide money, but to build an ecosystem around the fund where ideas turn into businesses," noted Hayot Ventures CEO Said-Yakhyo Mirmansurov.
