On September 23, a reverse vending machine (RVM) that accepts plastic, glass, and aluminum containers will be presented in Tashkent. For handing in sorted waste, users will be able to receive financial rewards through the Click application.
The reverse vending machine was installed by the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency. The equipment is designed for the separate collection of waste with subsequent recycling.
The presentation will take place on September 23 at 10:00 in the Chilanzar district at the address: 7A Bunyodkor Street. The RVM is located in front of the building of the National Committee for Ecology.
The project initiators hope to attract more residents to waste sorting and raise the ecological culture of the population.
