These qualification matches are scheduled to run from November 8 to 20, 2026, adopting a centralized, single-round robin format. The seven teams that emerge as group winners will secure their spots in the final tournament. They will join nine nations that have already qualified automatically due to their strong performances at the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2026 in Qatar. These automatically qualified teams are Australia, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam. Japan holds the title of the reigning Asian champion.

Group A, with Myanmar as host, includes Indonesia, Myanmar, Afghanistan, the Philippines, and Cambodia.
Group B, hosted by Thailand, features Thailand, Iraq, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, and the Maldives.
Group C, hosted by the United Arab Emirates, comprises the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Syria, Bhutan, and Macau.
Group D, hosted by Laos, consists of Iran, Laos, Jordan, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
Group E, hosted by Malaysia, includes India, Malaysia, Palestine, Singapore, and Guam.
