Gavi donates €1.3 million to build 150 homes for the homeless

Gavi has donated 1.3 million euros to build 150 homes for the homeless in his hometowns of Los Palacios and Villafranca.

Barcelona midfielder Gavi has donated a large sum to build shelters for the homeless in his hometowns of Los Palacios and Villafranca. According to La Razón, the footballer is spending 1.3 million euros on this project to support his fellow citizens who are living in difficult conditions.

The money allocated will build 150 apartments and provide permanent housing for 300 homeless people. It is emphasized that this is not a business investment with the aim of making any profit, but only a charitable act aimed at improving the living conditions of the local population.

“I have seen so many people on cold winter nights, homeless and struggling to survive. If I could make a difference, I have always considered it my duty to lend a helping hand. Thanks to my loved ones, family, friends and all the hard work and hardships that have led me to this point, I can say that today everything has been worth it. If I had the chance, I would not hesitate to walk this path again,” says Gavi.

For your information, Gavi spent most of his childhood in Los Palacios before moving to Barcelona. His father Pablo had a small business, while his mother Xema worked in the laundry department of Betis. This laid the foundation for the young man to grow up in a football environment.
