Gasoline runs out at the gas station in Gelendzhik
Gas stations in and around the Russian city of Gelendzhik have run out of gasoline. By the evening of August 21, the last gas station in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka was out of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline. Queues of hundreds of cars formed at some stations.

Gelendzhik runs out of fuel
According to the publication "Vazhnye istorii", on the evening of Friday, August 21, all gas stations in Gelendzhik and its surroundings completely ran out of gasoline. Even the last gas station in the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka was out of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline.
Hundreds of cars were lined up at some gas stations throughout the day. According to the Telegram channel "Ostorozhno, novosti", some drivers had to wait in line for more than 16 hours to get gas.
Earlier, similar reports were received from other settlements in Sochi and the Krasnodar Territory. The Sochi administration assessed the fuel situation in the city as extremely difficult and urged local residents and tourists to refrain from traveling by private cars as much as possible.
A new wave of fuel shortages in Russia began in mid-August. Between August 10 and 15, restrictions on the sale of gasoline were reintroduced or previous restrictions were tightened in at least six regions of the country.
The Izvestia newspaper, citing GdeBenz, reported that as of August 18, only 28.1 percent of Russian gas stations had gasoline and diesel fuel. A week earlier, this figure was 41 percent.
The source attributed the fuel crisis in Russia to regular attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on oil refineries. The situation is said to have escalated in late May.
Various restrictions on the sale of fuel have been officially introduced in more than 40 regions of Russia.
