From which countries did Uzbekistan mainly buy potatoes?

In the first half of the year, Uzbekistan imported potatoes from 11 countries. The bulk of imports came from Kazakhstan.

Uzbekistan imported 421,918 tons of potatoes worth a total of $34 million from 11 countries in the period from January to June 2026. This information was published by the National Statistics Committee.

Although the volume of imports decreased by almost 46.9 thousand tons compared to the same period last year, Kazakhstan retained its leadership among suppliers.

337.9 thousand tons of potatoes were imported from Kazakhstan, which accounts for the largest share of total imports. Next in line are Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.

33.8 thousand tons of potatoes were imported from Pakistan, and 14.8 thousand tons from Kyrgyzstan.

13.5 thousand tons of potatoes were also imported from Afghanistan and 9.7 thousand tons from the Netherlands. The remaining 12.2 thousand tons of potatoes were accounted for by other countries.
