Cash cases for the winners, exclusive merch, and gifts with national flavor — this is exactly how October 9 was remembered, when one of the world's most popular video bloggers Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast, met with fans in Tashkent for the first time.
The capital of Uzbekistan became the starting point of his trip through Central Asia. The visit, organized by the Culture and Art Development Foundation together with the Tourism Committee, turned into a real interactive celebration for fans. To get to the secret location, one had not only to fill out an application form, but also to pass a random selection, after which the lucky ones were sent personal QR codes.
Those fortunate enough to be at the venue immediately immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the blogger's signature shows — with dynamic challenges, quizzes, and logic tests. The main event of the day was the presentation of super prizes: three of the smartest participants took home cases with 100 million sums in cash each. Emotions overwhelmed everyone present as the winners came out in front of the cheering crowd with open cases full of money, while hundreds of spectators chanted congratulations, witnessing the scale of the challenges familiar from their screens right before their eyes.
However, not a single participant who passed the selection was left without gifts. Everyone received a commemorative set with a black fabric shopper bag, a notepad, a bracelet, and stickers. This merch even served as an occasion for a touching episode: after the program ended, young people looking through their souvenirs on the street decided to share the joy and gave part of the gifts to a little girl who was watching the celebration from the sidelines.
Feastables chocolate bars — MrBeast's brand — became a sweet addition to the meeting. They were handed out to fans from a cart.
At the same time, a surprise awaited the American guest himself. Uzbekistan met him with genuine delight and deep respect for local traditions. A local artist presented the blogger and his team with a painted portrait depicting them in traditional Uzbek chapans, wishing to leave them with a vivid memory of the country.
The national theme was also supported by blogger Maryam Tillyaeva, who presented MrBeast with an exclusive chapan decorated with his signature logo. On Instagram, she clarified that she had specially tailored this outfit for the blogger. The chapan also features the inscription "Uzbekistan".
The arrival of a world-class star instantly caused a real sensation not only among fans, but also in the business community. Uzbek businesses immediately seized on the high-profile news topic: social networks were literally flooded with a wave of creative promo videos from local brands and establishments. Entrepreneurs actively used footage and images of MrBeast, playing up his visit as if the blogger had stopped by their specific place or personally advertised their goods and services.
The event-filled day was not without city rumors. News quickly spread on social media that the famous red Lamborghini from the blogger's challenge had allegedly been in an accident on the streets of Tashkent. However, the capital's Traffic Safety Department promptly debunked this fake news, confirming that the car moved through Tashkent without incident, while MrBeast himself later clarified that the supercar had been damaged during filming in Delhi.
The Tashkent meeting ended on a warm note, leaving hundreds of fans with vivid memories, and MrBeast himself with an unforgettable reception in Central Asia.
