Fraud worth 574 million soums exposed in Uchtepa
Two individuals suspected of fraudulently obtaining 574.6 million soums from apartment owners by posing as the heads of an apartment building management body have been identified in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent. A criminal case has been initiated into the incident.
A case of fraud worth 574 million soums was revealed in Uchtepa.
As a result of the pre-investigation investigation conducted by the Uchtepa district department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, it turned out that citizens A.B. and M.B. introduced themselves as the heads of the management body of house No. 29 on the territory of the "Vatanparvar" MFY.
They entered the trust of citizens living in this house and fraudulently embezzled a total of 574.6 million soums.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Currently, investigative actions on the case are ongoing.
