Four people died after a train collided with a Gentra in Surkhandarya. Video

A tragic accident occurred in the Denau district of the Surkhandarya region: a train collided with a Gentra passenger car at a railroad crossing. According to media reports, four people died in the incident.

According to Kun.uz, the accident occurred on August 28. Video footage from the scene shows the Gentra entering the railroad crossing directly in front of an oncoming train. The force of the impact throws the car off the tracks and then crashes into a concrete support pillar located beside the road. The car sustained serious damage. All four occupants died.

At this time, no official comments or details regarding the incident have been received from the Surkhandarya Region Road Safety Department, Uzbekistan Railways, or other relevant authorities.

Another accident was previously reported in the Syrdarya region, where a collision between a Chevrolet Captiva and a truck resulted in the deaths of three people. After the accident, the truck caught fire.
