FlyArystan has started operating Almaty — Urgench flights twice a week
Kazakhstani airline FlyArystan has launched regular air service between Almaty and Urgench. The first flight on the new route has already taken place, opening up additional opportunities for the development of tourism ties between Kazakhstan and the Khorezm region. This was reported by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Flights will be operated twice a week — on Thursdays and Sundays. The travel time is 2 hours and 35 minutes.
Representatives of 10 travel companies from Kazakhstan arrived in Khorezm on the first flight. A three-day information tour has been organized for them, which includes scheduled B2B meetings and a workshop with the participation of local tour operators.
During the trip, representatives of the Kazakhstani tourism business will get acquainted with the historical and cultural attractions of Khorezm, as well as the tourism potential of the region.
The organizers expect that conducting such information tours will help promote the Khorezm region in the tourism market of Kazakhstan. In addition, they aim to establish direct cooperation between the travel companies of the two countries and increase mutual tourist exchange.
The new air route also improves the transport accessibility of Khorezm for travelers from Kazakhstan and creates additional opportunities for the development of international tourist flow to the region.
