First Uzbekistan-Korea interregional forum to be held in Seoul
The first Uzbekistan-Korea interregional cooperation forum will take place in Seoul on 11 September 2026, focusing on trade, investment and business ties.

The inaugural Uzbekistan-Korea Interregional Cooperation Forum is scheduled to take place in Seoul on September 11, 2026, as announced by Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.
This event will gather government officials, investors, and business leaders from both nations. The forum aims to foster trade, economic, investment, and interregional relationships between Uzbekistan and South Korea. Organizers intend for it to serve as a venue for business discussions and the creation of new collaborations.
Industrial cooperation and investment partnerships will be central to the forum's agenda. Attendees will also address enhancements to vocational education and training systems, alongside the cultivation of skilled professionals.
Furthermore, the forum will highlight digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and IT. Discussions are also planned to explore the expansion of cultural, humanitarian, and sports connections between the two countries.
The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade has extended an invitation to companies interested in forging new business relationships and pursuing mutually beneficial cooperation with Korean counterparts.
