Financial services firm to cut 114 jobs as part of 'proposed restructuring'
The Financial Services Union understands 95 employees in Belfast are at risk and a further 19 employees are at risk in Londonderry.

Financial services firm FinTrU is set to cut jobs in Northern Ireland as part of a “proposed restructuring.”
In a letter seen by BBC News NI, the Financial Services Union (FSU) expressed concerns about the fairness of the consultation process.
The company offers support services, including compliance and risk management, to major banks from offices in Belfast, Londonderry, Letterkenny in the Republic of Ireland and Porto in Portugal.
The FSU says it understands that 95 employees in Belfast are at risk, with another 19 at risk in Londonderry.
It said that, with 114 employees in total at risk, the consultation process should run for at least 90 days and be restarted.
The company has confirmed it has begun a “proposed restructuring affecting a number of roles.”
It said this comes after “a wider strategic review” and forms part of an “organisational realignment to support long-term growth and ensure it remains aligned with evolving operational needs.”
FinTrU said it is committed to supporting employees affected by the proposals throughout the consultation process.
The latest accounts for 2025 show the FinTrU Group employed 1,360 people, down from 1,419 in 2024.
