The Fergana Region plans to launch production of electric vehicle charging stations. This project will be implemented with the participation of the Chinese company Teglong. A preliminary cooperation agreement was reached during a recent visit by an Uzbek delegation to China.
The delegation, which included representatives of the Fergana Khokimiyat and local entrepreneurs, was led by Avazbek Temirov, head of the Fergana Regional Office of Uzenergoinspektsiya. During the trip, the delegation visited several large Chinese enterprises and held talks aimed at expanding investment cooperation.
At a meeting with Teglong Director Bai Zhang, the parties discussed the details of organizing the production of electric vehicle charging stations in Fergana, taking into account the specifics of the local market. The possibility of exporting the products to neighboring countries was also discussed.
Following the talks, preliminary agreements were reached to launch this project.
This partnership is expected to contribute to the development of high-tech industry and increase the level of localization of production in the Fergana region.
