Father and son die after Spark overturns after being crushed by Cobalt in Tashkent region
In Tashkent region, a Cobalt skidded and overturned, causing a Spark to skid off the road. As a result, a 39-year-old man and his 5-year-old child in the Spark died. The driver of the Cobalt, who fled the scene, was arrested the same day.

A video circulating on social media shows the Cobalt blocking the Spark's path while it was overtaking it, causing the Spark to veer off the road and overturn, while the Cobalt fled the scene.
According to the Tashkent regional police department, the incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on August 15. The driver of the Cobalt, 30-year-old X.A., was identified that day and arrested.
According to the "Millar" program, the deceased were a 39-year-old man and his 5-year-old child. Another woman was hospitalized.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 266, Part 3, Subparagraph “a” of the Criminal Code (Violation of the rules for the safety of the movement or use of vehicles, resulting in the death of people). Investigative actions are currently underway.
