Emapta Eyes Uzbekistan for Global Service Operations

Emapta is considering Uzbekistan for local service operations, pilot projects and a potential operational centre as it explores further global expansion.

Emapta, an international outsourcing firm, is exploring Uzbekistan as a prospective hub for expanding its worldwide service operations.

The potential for Emapta to establish a local presence and initiate pilot projects in Uzbekistan was a key topic of discussion between Sherzod Shermatov, the Minister of Digital Technologies, representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan, and Tim Vorbach, Emapta's Founder and CEO.

This meeting occurred during the Global Business Services Forum 2026. Discussions focused on the future development of Emapta's service operations within Uzbekistan, strategies for training skilled professionals, and the execution of initial pilot projects.

IT Park Uzbekistan representatives showcased the nation's advantages as a site for international service centers. They emphasized the readily available skilled workforce, competitive operational expenses, governmental support initiatives, and collaborative opportunities for specialist training with universities and through IT Park's educational programs.

Established in 2010, Emapta offers outsourcing, Employer of Record, and distributed team management services. The company employs over 10,000 individuals and operates across Asia, Latin America, and Europe, serving clients in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

Moving forward, both parties are considering the creation of dedicated teams in Uzbekistan and the potential launch of an Emapta operational center.

Additionally, they deliberated on developing a roadmap and pinpointing promising avenues for collaborative efforts.
