**Driver jailed for seven days after posting video of traffic police officer on Instagram**

A driver who filmed a traffic police officer and shared the footage online has been sentenced to seven days in prison in the Chiroqchi district of Kashkadarya province, according to the provincial Traffic Safety Department.

According to reports, traffic police inspectors stopped the driver on October 5 during an enforcement operation near the Chiroqchi farmers' market, where an administrative violation report was drawn up against him. During the incident, the driver recorded his exchange with the officer and uploaded the video to his Instagram page.

The Chiroqchi District Criminal Court examined the citizen's actions. The driver was found guilty under Article 195-2 of the Administrative Responsibility Code, which punishes photographing or filming law enforcement officers with the aim of discrediting them. As a result, he was given a seven-day administrative prison sentence.

The driver said he regretted what he had done. The Qashqadaryo Province Traffic Safety Department called on citizens who disagree with the actions of traffic patrol inspectors on any issue to file their complaints through legal channels.

Earlier, on September 24, another citizen in Qashqadaryo was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest for circulating a video intended to discredit a traffic police officer.
