Right in the profile description, Jennifer Lawrence explained why she couldn't get her full name: “jenniferlawrence was taken.” Instead, she chose the nickname that fans and the press have already been using. For her avatar, a funny photo of the actress sitting in a salon chair was uploaded, and she filmed her first video while looking sleepy in bed.

In this video, the 36-year-old star of “The Hunger Games” addressed her followers with a warning, and this message immediately went viral.

“I’m giving this a chance, and if anyone says anything negative, I’m leaving. Immediately. No questions asked,” she said. And she added: “Even if someone thinks something bad, I will find out. And I will leave.”

The video instantly became popular. In the first 24 hours, the account gathered more than 978,000 followers, and by Thursday evening, this figure exceeded 3.6 million. Fans received Lawrence’s appearance on social media like a gift and immediately began joking that if anyone dared to write something inappropriate to her, it would be the shortest social media experiment in history.

Interestingly, Lawrence has long criticized social media. In a 2018 interview, she said that they “rot the brain” and that she didn't understand why people spend so much time on them. Back then, the actress admitted that she saw no point in showing off her life in public. However, times are changing, and apparently, the actress decided to give it a try — but on her own terms.

This step coincided with a new wave of discussions about Jennifer Lawrence’s possible return to Marvel. The actress played the role of Mystique in four films of the “X-Men” franchise — “First Class” (2011), “Days of Future Past” (2014), “Apocalypse” (2016), and “Dark Phoenix” (2019). Although fans have been waiting for her return for a long time, there is no official confirmation from Marvel. Furthermore, in the upcoming film “Avengers: Doomsday,” the role of Mystique will be played by Rebecca Romijn, who played this character in the original trilogy.
