Donald Trump has ruled out the possibility of cooperation with China in the field of artificial intelligence

The Washington administration does not intend to build close cooperation with China in the development of artificial intelligence in order to prevent the leakage of classified data. US President Donald Trump announced this at an AI conference in Washington.

The American leader noted that the US is confidently ahead of everyone in this area, and the main struggle is between Washington and Beijing. According to Trump, the creation of joint ventures with China would lead to the transfer of classified technologies to which the Chinese side seeks to gain access.

The US President said that he briefly raised this topic during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his visit to the US on September 23–25, but the American side is not going to take steps toward working together. Trump also said he prefers the term "superintelligence," adding that there will be only one winner in this technological race. During his speech, the head of state also presented a new US government services portal.
