Doctoral quotas for 2027 approved
Admission quotas for postgraduate education in Uzbekistan have been approved for 2027. A total of 4,840 places have been allocated, of which 3,900 are for basic doctoral studies, 540 for doctoral studies, and 400 for intern-research positions.
**Doctoral admission quotas for 2027 have been established**
According to the order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation No. 337 dated August 11, 2026, admission quotas for postgraduate education for 2027 have been approved.
According to this document, a total of 4,840 admission places have been allocated across the republic. These places are distributed among 234 scientific and educational institutions in the country.
The main part of the admission quotas is directed to basic doctoral studies, with 3,900 places allocated for this direction.
In addition, 540 admission quotas have been established for doctoral studies and 400 for intern-research.
Thus, in 2027, a total of more than 4.8 thousand places will be provided for the training of scientific personnel in the postgraduate education system.
