Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On August 5 of this year, a meeting was held at the Deposit Guarantee Agency with the participation of Ulugbek Hamdamov, Director General of the Agency, and Garret Scott and Michal Pehotski, representatives of the foreign company Regnology.
The meeting was organized to study international trends in the digital transformation of the deposit guarantee system.
During the negotiations, modern digital solutions and management platforms used in the activities of deposit guarantee organizations were presented. In particular, the possibilities of collecting and automatically checking the quality of data from member banks, maintaining a register of depositors, automating the processes of compensation payments, data analysis, risk monitoring, and secure information exchange between participants in the financial safety net were discussed.
During the conversation, the Agency exchanged views on the functional capabilities of these technological solutions, the experience of their implementation in practice, and the prospects for their application in the deposit guarantee system of Uzbekistan.
The Deposit Guarantee Agency, as part of the transformation process, consistently continues its work on studying international best practices, analyzing modern digital technologies, and assessing the possibilities of their application in the national deposit guarantee system.
