Delegation of Uzbekistan attends opening ceremony of Paralympic Games in Italy

Para alpine skiers Yulduz Makhmudova and Firdavs Khudoyatov represented Uzbekistan at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Paralympic Games in Italy. The ceremony was held at the ancient Roman amphitheater Arena di Verona. About 600 athletes from various countries will compete for 79 sets of medals.

An Uzbek delegation participated in the opening ceremony of the 14th Winter Paralympic Games, held in Verona, Italy, as confirmed by the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Uzbekistan.
