Decree: 100 trillion soums worth of assets to be privatized

By presidential decree, the task was set to put assets and land plots with a total value of nearly 100 trillion soums up for sale this year, and to ensure revenues of at least 14 trillion soums within this year itself. Turonbank, "Uzexpocentre", the International Cooperation Center (pictured), and regional markets will be privatized. The Humo Air company, which was sold in 2022, has been included in the privatization program once again.

The main target indicators of the program to reduce state participation in the economy and privatization in 2026 have been established:

The decree approved the list of assets, including share packages (stakes), to be put up for public auction in 2026-2027.

The list includes Humo Air airline (which was privatized in 2022), Turonbank, "Uzexpocentre", International Cooperation Center, "Xalq Sug'urta", Oqtosh pension, several road maintenance enterprises, regional markets, and others.
