Dates announced for Frankfurt Christmas Market - and one big change
The market is back for seven weeks - but the layout will be different this year, say organisers.
Dates have been announced for Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market, and organisers have also said the layout will be different this year.
The market will run for seven weeks, opening on 5 November and continuing until Christmas Eve.
For 2026, there will be no stalls between Nandos and the Apple store on New Street because of ongoing roadworks on Bennetts Hill and Temple Street.
The event is the largest authentic market of its kind outside Germany or Austria, and will include traditional food and drink stalls such as schnitzel and bratwurst, as well as handcrafted gifts, decorations and jewellery.
Birmingham City Council has also confirmed that the big wheel and ice rink attractions will return to Centenary Square from 5 November to 3 January.
The market will be held in Victoria Square and New Street, between Corporation Street and the Bullring.
Opening hours will be:
Mondays to Thursdays: 11:00 GMT to 21:00 GMT
Fridays: 11:00 GMT to 21:30 GMT
Saturdays: 10:00 GMT to 21:30 GMT
Organisers said the market will open at 13:00 GMT on Remembrance Sunday, 8 November, as a mark of respect.
