China studied sustainable mining practices for Uzbekistan
Uzbek specialists studied China's experience in geology, mining, ESG, environmental monitoring, and digitalization in Beijing and Xi'an.

From August 5th to 18th, a seminar entitled "Sustainable Development of the Mining Industry in Uzbekistan" was held in Beijing and Xi'an. Representatives of the Ministry of Mining and Geology of Uzbekistan, as well as employees of subordinate organizations responsible for the strategic development and transformation of the industry, participated. This was reported by the Ministry of Mining and Geology.
During the event, participants learned about Chinese experience in geology and mining, as well as methods for the rational use of mineral resources. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of ESG principles, environmental monitoring, and the digitalization of geological processes. Theoretical knowledge was reinforced by a study of practical solutions applied in the Chinese mining industry.
In Xi'an, seminar participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Geosite system, developed for the digitalization of geological exploration. They also studied the practical experience of large Chinese industrial enterprises in the field of sustainable development.
The seminar served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in key areas such as the development of geology, the efficient use of mineral resources, environmental aspects, and the digital transformation of the mining industry.
