China Clarified Deliveries of J-10 Fighter Jets to Uzbekistan

Deliveries of Chinese J-10CE multirole fighter jets to Uzbekistan are not directed against any third countries. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of National Defense of the PRC, Jiang Bin.

According to him, military cooperation between China and Uzbekistan is developing in a friendly manner, and arms deliveries comply with international law and established international practice.

"The normal development of cooperation in the field of military trade between the parties complies with international law and international practice and is not directed against any third party," Jiang Bin said.

In August, the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan published for the first time a video featuring J-10CE fighter jets commissioned into the country's Air Force.

Uzbekistan became the second foreign customer of this model after Pakistan. Previously, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, and Sudan had also shown interest in the J-10CE. China emphasizes that this is a matter of defense trade, rather than confrontation with other states.
