Regional Hokim Murotjon Azimov presented several projects, including initiatives to improve water supply, develop tourism, as well as the healthcare and education sectors.

In particular, in the old city part of Karshi, on the territory of the ancient fortress "Nasaf", it is planned to modernize the infrastructure for tourists.

In the healthcare sector, it is planned to reconstruct 10 facilities and build 1 new one in the region in 2027.

In the near future, work will begin in Karshi on concreting the Chap Tarmok canal and landscaping its banks. This will provide water to 1,400 hectares of land, as well as local residents.

Recreation areas and pedestrian routes will appear along the canal, which will become a point of attraction for 25 thousand residents of four nearby mahallas, Saida Mirziyoyeva reported.

In Karshi, she visited school No. 43 and kindergarten No. 1. “It was hard to see that the kindergarten is in a hazardous condition, and the classrooms in the school are cold with old desks. But childhood does not wait, and we are obliged to solve these problems without delay,” the Head of the Presidential Administration wrote on Telegram.

It was decided to build a new kindergarten for 360 places on the site of the old one. The school building will be completely renovated and turned into a “modern educational institution with advanced laboratories, active creative clubs and, most importantly, an inclusive environment for children with special needs.”

After that, Saida Mirziyoyeva spoke with the students and staff of the new Kashkadarya Technicum of Advanced Professional Mastery.

“Our main goal is to ensure that from their first steps in kindergarten to their entry into adult life, all our children grow up and study in truly decent conditions,” she stressed.

The Head of the PA also visited the regional addiction treatment facility “to see the situation from the inside and start implementing changes in the most problematic places.”

“Along with basic treatment conditions and the professionalism of doctors, simple human warmth can give strength to a person in trouble. Sometimes a single sincere expression of support restores hope and a footing. No one should be afraid to ask for help and be left alone with their pain,” she wrote.

“We have set a goal to create a unified system where prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation work like a well-oiled mechanism in the hands of a single multidisciplinary team,” Saida Mirziyoyeva added.

Together with domestic and international experts, a special program for the radical transformation of the sector is being developed. “At the center of this work will always be the person, their dignity, and comprehensive support on the path to returning to a healthy life,” she noted.
