Rustam Pasha

Rustam Pasha is portrayed in the series as an evil, cunning, hypocritical, but intelligent and goal-oriented person. With his intelligence and loyalty to Khurram Sultan, he achieves high positions in the palace and even becomes the husband of Mehrimoh Sultan. However, Rustam was a man who lived only for his own benefit. His enemies were afraid not of his authority in power, but of his changeable character, because no one knew what to expect from him.

Gulshah

Introduced from the beginning of the series as a loyal servant of Mahidevron Sultan, Gulshah initially seems like an exemplary woman, because she is always loyal and devoted to her leader. However, her excessive initiative, meddling in everything, and a long tongue betray her. She is never honest or fair, and she always tries to intimidate other servants. Gulshah's tendency to take revenge in particular has made a negative impression on many. That is why the audience accepted her tragic fate in the series as natural.

Fatima Khanum

Fatimah Khanum arrives at the palace from Croatia and soon realizes the cruel rules of the Topkapi Palace. As she becomes a close person of Mahidevron Sultan, she gains a special reputation among the other concubines. It is Fatima who displaces Gulshah and takes her place. Although Mahidavron thought of her as a loyal servant, Fatima had her own plans: she wanted to strengthen her position in the palace by having an affair with the crown prince and having a child from him. In the end, she achieved her goal and became pregnant by Mustafa. But even then, she did not stop waging intrigues. When the prince turned his back on Fatima, she completely lost her way. After the death of her son, she committed suicide, blaming Khurram for this tragedy.

Lady Aisha

Another of Prince Mustafa's wives was Aisha, who gave birth to a daughter from the prince, but did not interfere in the palace intrigues and was busy raising her daughter. Although Prince Mustafa looked at other women, Aisha ignored her. In some cases, she causes petty quarrels out of jealousy, but this seems insignificant compared to the actions of other maids. It was precisely this indifference and passivity of Aisha that the audience did not like. Fans of the series were accustomed to intrigues and struggles, and Aisha's life by the rules seemed boring. Her simple disappearance in the fourth season of the series also caused objections.

Matrakchi

The clever, educated and wise Matrakchi Nasuh Efendi was a character who witnessed many historical events during the series and was close to important figures in the palace. However, the audience's attitude towards her was contradictory. Although most fans considered Matrakchi to be a person of high intelligence, some of her decisions and actions caused serious criticism. The greatest dissatisfaction was associated with her excessive loyalty to Ibrahim Pasha. He keeps everything a secret, knowing about Ibrahim's secret relationship with Nigar. This was considered by many viewers to be "lack of self-respect" and a "weak character".

Prince Selim

Prince Selim is the son of Sultan Suleiman and later the ruler of the Ottoman throne. However, he was one of the most criticized characters by the audience throughout the series. Dissatisfaction with him was not only due to the plot events, but also due to his weak character, the cruelty of his decisions and his lack of confidence as a person. In the series, Selim often makes a negative impression on the audience with his cowardice, excessive drinking and always trying to justify himself. He survives in the political arena with the help of those around him, especially his mother Khurram and his wife Nurbanu Sultan. The audience perceived him as "an heir who lives not on his own strength, but with the help of others." However, the biggest criticism is related to Selim's decision to execute his own brother Bayezid and his sons. This incident was one of the most tragic scenes that aroused anger and hatred among fans of the series.

Sultan Suleiman's sister, Khadijah Sultan, was one of the characters that initially won the hearts of the series' viewers. She is seen as a quiet, gentle, intelligent woman - a loving sister, a loyal wife and a devoted friend. However, over time, the perception of her changed dramatically. Due to the problems in her relationship with Ibrahim, Khadijah was constantly crying, quarreling, accusing, and conflicting with those around her. All this tired the viewers.
