Battle for the Championship at the Chess Olympiad: Today Uzbekistan Faces India

The pairings for the 6th round of the 46th World Chess Olympiad, which is ongoing in Samarkand, have been determined. The men's and women's teams representing Uzbekistan have found out their opponents for the next round.

**Uzbekistan's 1st Team**

In the men's competition, Uzbekistan's 1st team will play against the reigning winner of the tournament — the national team of India. Both teams have won all of the past 5 rounds.

Additionally, after drawing with the US team, the Uzbekistan women's national team is currently in 6th place in the women's standings.

For information, a total of 400 teams are participating in the 46th World Chess Olympiad hosted by Samarkand: 208 teams in the men's section and 192 teams in the women's section. The competition will continue until September 28.
