Cat found on metro tracks at Kosmonavtlar station rescued
A cat that fell onto the tracks of the Kosmonavtlar metro station was safely rescued by staff. The animal was not harmed, and the incident did not affect train traffic.

Videos of a cat walking on the train tracks at the "Kosmonavtlar" metro station have been widely shared on social media. According to the Tashkent Metro, this incident occurred at 20:01 on August 16.
In one of the videos, a train can be seen approaching while the cat was below.
It is noted that the situation was taken under control by metro employees and the cat was safely removed by M. Makhmayusupov, a technical support foreman of the "Tunnel Structures" service.
It was added that this incident did not affect the train schedule in any way. The cat was also not harmed as a result of this incident.
