Capybaras Enter Parliament Building in Brazil, Session Suspended (Video)

A session of the regional parliament in Brazil was briefly suspended due to unexpected guests - capybaras. Fox News reported this.

According to reports, on July 30, several capybaras freely entered the building of the Legislative Assembly of the state of Mato Grosso in the city of Cuiaba. While employees tried to get them out, the animals calmly wandered around the hall.

Parliament employees said that capybaras often appear here because the building is located near a park where wild animals live. These unexpected guests did not harm anyone and left the area faster than expected. A video of their walk quickly went viral on social media.

Capybaras are the largest rodents in the world. These animals, which live in both water and land in South America, are known for their calm nature and have become a favorite animal of social media users. They are very outgoing, usually travel in groups, and can weigh about 79 kilograms.
