Byeon Woo-seok became a neighbor to BTS member Jin: the actor purchased an apartment in an elite residential complex for nearly 10 million dollars

On September 10, representatives of real estate and financial circles announced that Byeon Woo-seok purchased a 235-square-meter apartment in the Hannam The Hill complex in Seoul's Yongsan-gu district. The actor had already agreed on the deal back in May, and on September 2, he finalized the purchase and registered the property rights under his name.

There is no information about a mortgage or collateral in the real estate documents, which is why experts assume that Byeon Woo-seok may have paid the amount in cash. If this is confirmed, this purchase will become one of the largest real estate transactions completed without a loan this year.

"Hannam The Hill" is not just an ordinary residential complex, but a symbol of status. It was built in 2011 on the site of the old Dankook University campus and consists of 32 buildings with 600 apartments. Unlike typical skyscrapers, the buildings here are low-rise, the apartments are spacious, there are many green areas, and the level of privacy is high.

This complex played an important role in making Hannam-dong one of Seoul's most prestigious districts. Many famous personalities live here: actress Ock Joo-hyun, actor So Ji-sub, as well as BTS member Jin. He bought an apartment here in 2019 for 4.4 billion won (3.2 million dollars), later another one, and in 2025 a third one for 17.5 billion won (nearly 13 million dollars).

He portrays the character of hunter Sung Jin-woo in the series. Work on this drama began in the spring of 2026, and the first season will consist of seven episodes. The project is expected to become one of the streaming service's large-scale Korean series, and Byeon Woo-seok's partner on the filming set will be Han So-hee.

Interestingly, along with the filming, the actor continues to maintain a warm relationship with IU — they starred together in the drama "The 21st Century Prince's Wife," which finished airing in May this year. Recently, Byeon Woo-seok posted photos on social media, tagging the singer's account. The pictures show a food truck loaded with sweets that the actress sent to the filming set to support him.

The food truck catering company also shared shots from the filming set and noted that IU ordered a premium set called "World Star" for the entire filming crew. In addition to his beloved's gift, the actor also showed coffee trucks sent by his fans.
