**Business negotiations around a pilaf table: 20 Russian companies to meet with Uzbek partners in Tashkent**
Russian business continues to expand its presence in the Uzbek market. At a time when the trade volume between the two countries is also growing, a B2B meeting is being organized in Tashkent, bringing together Russian manufacturers and Uzbek entrepreneurs in one venue.
The event, which will take place on September 29, will be held under the national brand "Made in Russia". In it, 20 Russian companies will showcase their products and conduct direct negotiations with potential partners in Uzbekistan.
The main goal of the event is not just to display products. It is aimed at establishing concrete business ties between Russian and Uzbek companies, discussing new areas of cooperation, and creating a foundation for potential deals.
**Business negotiations will continue with pilaf**
The business program will continue in an informal format. As part of the event, a "battle of the chefs" will be held, in which Uzbek head chefs will prepare various types of pilaf using products from Russian manufacturers.
The rice for the pilaf will be provided by the National brand of Angstrem Trading LLC, one of the largest rice producers in Russia. Meat products will be supplied by Miratorg, one of the largest producers in Russia.
This format envisages combining business negotiations with an atmosphere of hospitality characteristic of Uzbekistan. That is, the event participants will have the opportunity to communicate not only at the negotiation table, but also around the national dish.
**Trade between Russia and Uzbekistan is growing**
The meeting in Tashkent is being held against the backdrop of expanding trade relations between the two countries.
By the end of 2025, the trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan increased by 12.4 percent. In particular, exports grew by 11.6 percent, and imports from Uzbekistan to Russia increased by 14 percent.
By the end of the year, the volume of trade with Russia reached nearly 13 billion dollars. It is worth noting that Russia, along with China, remains one of Uzbekistan's major trading partners. The share of these two countries accounts for more than 37 percent of Uzbekistan's total foreign trade turnover.
Behind these indicators lies practical cooperation between individual companies, suppliers, and buyers. The B2B meeting is aimed at turning these macroeconomic indicators into concrete business contacts.
