Body of Uzbek Citizen Who Died in Türkiye Returned Home

The body of a 36-year-old Uzbek citizen who died in Türkiye's Bursa Province has been returned to Uzbekistan and handed over to his family.

The remains of Oybek Niyozov, a 36-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan who passed away in Türkiye's Bursa Province, have been repatriated to Uzbekistan and given to his family, as confirmed by the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.

The diplomatic mission extended its sympathies to the family and loved ones of Niyozov, who hailed from the Khorezm Region.

The consulate reported that Niyozov had been employed in the İnegöl district.

Officials from the General Consulate offered the family essential consular and legal support, and they also coordinated logistical arrangements with the relevant Turkish authorities.

Through the aid of Uzbekistan's Migration Agency and with financial assistance, Niyozov's body was returned to Uzbekistan and delivered to his family.

Turkish authorities are currently investigating the circumstances and cause of Oybek Niyozov's death, following standard procedures.
