Crypto exchange Binance plans to resume fund withdrawals in the near future

Binance intends to restore transaction processing in the near future. The press service of the crypto exchange reported that the withdrawal of funds could be resumed within the next 24 hours, provided all security checks are completed successfully.

Following the hack, technical work was conducted on the platform, and fund withdrawals were temporarily suspended.

On Friday, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange was subjected to a large-scale hacker attack. Digital assets worth 6 billion 300 million dollars were withdrawn from its wallets. The company managed to freeze about 3 billion dollars. The remaining portion of the stolen assets has not yet been returned. This is the largest theft of digital currency in history.

The exact method used to hack the platform has not yet been established. Binance reported that it has already reimbursed 90% of the amount stolen during the hacker attack.
