BARS prepares to jump
Kyrgyzstan announced the launch of production of its own brand of automobiles.
Kyrgyzstan is preparing to launch its own automobile production facility under the national brand BARS, according to the Kabar news agency. According to the government, the country's automotive cluster is 75% complete and will begin operations in the third quarter of this year.
The facility plans to manufacture passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and specialized vehicles, including electric vehicles. Annual production will be 10,000 vehicles. Most of the products will be sold domestically, while the remainder will be exported to Central Asian countries and the Eurasian Economic Union.
