Barcelona winger out for long-term

Barcelona's 20-year-old winger Rooney Bardaghy has suffered a serious injury and will be out of action for a long time ahead of the 2026/27 season. According to insider Fabrizio Romano on social media, the player has torn his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). This injury will keep him out for 6-7 months.

Earlier, there were reports that Bardaghy could leave the club after the arrival of attacking players such as Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi at Barcelona. He has been interested in clubs from the Bundesliga, Eredivisie, Ligue 1, the Portuguese Championship and Serie A.

Among the clubs that are interested in Bardaghy are Aston Villa, Sunderland, Everton, Fulham, Brighton, Leeds United, Ajax, Marseille, Porto, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.

It should be noted that the Swedish player was also unable to play in the 2023/2024 season for 11 months due to a knee injury.
