Barcelona want to complete Rodri transfer within 48 hours

Barcelona are looking to complete Rodri transfer within 48 hours
Barcelona have intensified negotiations over the transfer of Manchester City midfielder Rodri. The Catalan club aims to resolve the issue of adding the Spanish player to their ranks within the next 48 hours. Marca reported this.
Rodri's transfer has become one of the priorities for Barcelona. The club has reached an agreement with the player on personal terms, and now the main problem is to reach an agreement with Manchester City on the transfer fee.
The Catalans previously offered 45 million euros for Rodri, but Manchester City rejected this offer. Later, Barcelona sent a new offer of 60 million euros plus bonuses.
Manchester City, however, do not intend to let the 30-year-old midfielder go easily. The English club wants to earn around 80 million euros from the transfer of Rodri. Therefore, the transfer fee is the main obstacle in the negotiations between the parties.
There is another reason for Barcelona to rush. Rodri has completed his post-World Cup vacation and should return to Manchester City. The club's head coach Enso Maresca announced that the player will return to Manchester on August 14.
Therefore, Barcelona is trying to resolve the main transfer issues before Rodri returns to Manchester. The club plans to include the player in the squad led by Hansi Flick as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Manchester City is also preparing for Rodri's departure. The club is considering Chelsea midfielder Enso Fernandes as a possible replacement. However, the Londoners are demanding 120 million pounds for the Argentine player.
Thus, the next 48 hours could be crucial for the transfer of Rodri. Negotiations between Barcelona and Manchester City are nearing the final stage, but the parties have not yet reached an agreement on the transfer fee.
