**“When Harry Met Sally” (1989)**

**“Autumn in New York” (2000)**

Will Kane is a man who is used to being constantly in the spotlight of women. He is successful, handsome and rich, but all his relationships end in divorce. But everything changes when he meets the cheerful Charlotte. At first, Will thinks she is a fool and treats her carelessly. Soon, the hero learns that Charlotte is seriously ill and has only a year to live.

**Autumn Sonata (1978)**

Autumn Sonata is a feature film by Swedish director Ingmar Bergman. Its heroine is Charlotte, a famous pianist. She has everything she needs to be happy: unparalleled talent, fame, beauty, and two children. However, although God gave Charlotte the ability to create divine melodies, he did not endow her with love for her daughters. For the first time in many years, the world star comes to a remote village to see her child and is horrified to see that her paralyzed youngest daughter is alive and yearning for motherly love. The film ends with Charlotte's departure: she, as if from nothing, abandons her unloved children, disappears again, sinking into the depths of nothingness...
