**Austria Completes Parliamentary Approval for Revised Double Taxation Agreement with Uzbekistan**

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Austria's Federal Council has concluded the parliamentary process for the protocol amending the Agreement between Austria and Uzbekistan concerning the avoidance of double taxation on income and capital. The upper chamber of the Austrian parliament formally endorsed the document on July 16, 2026.

This final approval followed the National Council's (the lower house of the Austrian parliament) earlier ratification of the protocol on July 7. With
