Microsoft Delegation Meets with Uzbek ICT Development Ministry
On March 28, a delegation from Microsoft Corporation, visiting Tashkent to attend the Microsoft Innovation Day conference, engaged in discussions with officials at the Uzbek Ministry for ICT Development.
During the meeting, the Microsoft representatives provided their Uzbek hosts with an overview of the company's activities across CIS nations and expressed their desire to broaden Microsoft's operations within Uzbekistan.
The Uzbek side affirmed this interest, indicating its readiness to develop practical cooperation. This collaboration would aim to further integrate information technologies into public administration, various economic sectors, and the social sphere, notably education.
Both parties also underscored the significance of establishing partnerships between local universities and Microsoft concerning IT education programs.
