Arsenal close to signing Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa - Sky Sports

London's Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, Sky Sports reports.

According to the source, the Gunners will pay £51 million for the England international. The deal also includes additional bonuses. Earlier, Aston Villa had asked for more than £60 million for the 28-year-old defender.

It is noted that Ezri Konsa has already said goodbye to his teammates at Aston Villa. The defender will undergo a medical on August 20. After that, the transfer is expected to be officially announced.

For information, Konsa played 34 games in the English Premier League last season and scored 2 goals. He also played 8 games for the England national team at the 2026 World Cup, scoring 1 goal, and won the bronze medal with the English team.
