After a nearly four-hour journey from Tashkent, a Kun.uz correspondent arrived at the BYD Uzbekistan Factory in Jizzakh. Here, conveyors are operating continuously: various models are assembled one after another, replenishing the line of finished cars. During the tour of the factory, information was obtained from specialists about the car assembly procedure, quality control, and the system for training local personnel.
According to officials, the quality of a car is not determined only by the final inspection at the end of the conveyor. The car undergoes several stages of control and testing before it is ready. If an error is detected at any stage of the process, the car is not transferred to the next process. First, the problem is identified, the cause is assessed, and appropriate measures are taken. That is, behind each car that comes off the assembly line is not only assembly work, but also a step-by-step control system. And the final state of the car is formed precisely as a result of these successive checks.
The qualifications of local specialists also play an important role in this process. Because the assembly of a modern car does not end with just connecting the parts together. At each stage, technological requirements and quality standards must be met.
