An online system for issuing excavation permits has been launched in Tashkent

An electronic system has begun operating in Tashkent, through which residents and entrepreneurs can submit applications for excavation work, the laying of utility networks, as well as the temporary closure of roads or specific areas.

Applications can be submitted on the website order.tashkent.uz. The service was created for the preliminary coordination of work with the responsible organizations and for its safe organization.

The authorities emphasize that uncoordinated excavations can cause traffic jams, create inconvenience for pedestrians, damage underground utilities, and lead to disruptions in public services.

Carrying out excavation and repair work in public areas without the appropriate permit is prohibited. Liability is provided for such violations.

In October, during unauthorized excavation work in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent, builders damaged the wall of the Botkin Cemetery and several tombstones. The work was suspended, and the company was fined 88 million soums.
