An international media forum dedicated to Islamic civilization has opened in Tashkent.

On August 25, the international media forum, titled "Islamic Civilization: New Visions, New Discoveries," opened in Tashkent. The main events are taking place at the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan. Participants include representatives of international media, international experts, and media specialists.

The forum program includes an opening ceremony, plenary sessions, thematic media exhibitions, press briefings, and bilateral meetings. Participants will discuss the development of international media projects, modern technologies, documentary filmmaking, historical memory, and publishing initiatives.

Plenary sessions and presentations will focus on the contribution of Islamic civilization to world science and culture, the legacy of eminent scholars and the Holy Quran, as well as modern media formats and new international initiatives.

International media brands Euronews and CNN will serve as key media partners of the forum. The organizers consider their participation an important factor in expanding the event's international scope and media profile.

The forum also includes thematic events dedicated to modern approaches to highlighting historical and cultural heritage.

The forum is expected to become an international platform for showcasing Uzbekistan's civilizational heritage to a global audience using modern media approaches and new information projects.
