An explosion occurred in the mountainous area of Samarkand (video)

Investigations were conducted regarding reports on social networks about a large explosion that occurred in the Samarkand region.

It was established that the explosion was carried out not in the territory of the "Tepaqul" neighborhood citizens' gathering (MFY) in the Nurabad district, but in a mountainous area close to residential areas by SAM NURAFSHON GROUP LLC, located at 12 Gurogli Street, Samarkand city.

These blasting operations caused strong objections from local residents. Currently, relevant control measures regarding the situation are being continued.

Also, based on the relevant response letter from the Business Ombudsman, the necessary documents have been submitted to investigate the situation in accordance with the established procedure.

State inspectors are studying the necessary documents based on the requirements of the current legislation. It was stated that after the investigations are completed, a legal assessment of the situation will be provided, and additional information on the results will be shared with the public.

On April 15, blasting operations were also carried out in the Oqboyra tourism village of the Samarkand district. The Tourism Committee had reacted to the officials, stating that blasting operations must be performed at a precisely scheduled time, with prior warning given to the population.
